Aberdeen City Centre Parish Grouping - Celebrate Aberdeen

To say "Thank You" to the many volunteer groups in Aberdeen the City Council held a "Celebrate Aberdeen" day on 11 June 2011 with a parade down Union Street.  The Grouping was asked to take part and so armed with our Triskeles flag and a Celebrate Aberdeen Banner members of all three churches joined with 130 other voluntary organisations, assembled in Albyn Place and then led by a Pipe Band marched the length of Union Street to the Castlegate where we dispersed.

Here you can see the Grouping volunteers as we gathered, ready to set off.
