Interim Ministry Accompaniment Report for

St Mark’s Church, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen, Aberdeen City Centre, and the wider West End Cluster (Grouping)

We have attached a report prepared by Ian and presented to the Presbytery Planning and Deployment Committee at its meeting on 30th March .  You can access the report from this link.

PDC is seeking constructive engagement with all congregations.  As a first step we are being asked to discuss this report at Kirk Session.  Discussions will be taking place in Kirk Sessions of other churches in our group and also within the City Centre and West End Group.

Following discussion we are invited to forward contributions, thoughts and proposals to PDC as they seek to move forward and implement the Presbytery Plan.

As you will appreciate this is a really important discussion for us all as we explore how we move forward . As you know, sadly,  for us , Ian will be moving on to a new post and will be finishing his work with St Marks on 7th May.  He has however offered to meet with KS via Zoom on Wednesday,14th April at 7.30pm to lead our discussions.  Given the importance of these discussions to our vision this will be a single item meeting.

This meeting is also open to the Congregation, who can join as observers. We really hope you are able to join us on Wednesday 14th April. A link to the meeting can be obtained from the Church Office.

If you are unable to attend this meeting please forward your apologies and any comments / thoughts you would wish to be discussed .

We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at this important meeting .

With best wishes ,
Helen and Dianne
