Now that we are using ISSUU.com to provide a full colour version of the St Mark’s Messenger articles about the Men’s Club can be read in the Messenger Pages or in the Archive.
From the Spring 2011 “Messenger”
By the time this article is in print the Men’s club meetings will be over for another year. We have enjoyed the company of the ladies from the Guild at a number of meetings including the recent end of session meal.
We have had a number of guest speakers talking on topics as far ranging as the work of the Street Pastors, a interesting talk about diabetes and recently “In deep water” a look at how machines can work at great depths in the world’s oceans helping in oil and gas exploration. On the games nights carpet
bowls, darts and dominoes are enjoyed by the few dedicated men who attend, and they always enjoy the cup of tea or coffee at the end of the evening.
If you would like to join us on a Monday evening starting from October we will be pleased to see you.
